Halim
Since the age of 12 Halim Naeem always wanted to be a Psychologist. He was always interested in people and specifically what motivated people to do the stuff they do? He spent many years being active in the community and playing sports in school. He went through the University of Michigan getting a double major in Psychology and Near East Studies then went on to doctoral studies in Counseling Psychology at Western Michigan University. He is currently working on his dissertation on personality and religion.
Halim always wanted to share the benefits of his training with the masses and not just the academic community. It always intrigued Halim how guys would define themselves by frivolous things as he was growing up. He wondered if the feeling of insecurity and fears and nervousness when it was time to perform or when it was time to "man up" were normal, or were they something unique to his imagination. Through the journey of getting married and being married and becoming a father, he has talked, dealt with, and been exposed to other men who struggle and deal with these types of things. Halim wanted to share his experiences with the masses and not just the academic community. He wanted to empower readers and share the journey to and through Manhood with all the obstacles that lay before us. Through reading, thinking, feeling, and acting, we can sustain the strength needed to be upstanding Principled, Powerful, and Positive Men in society.
